Amber on Ice

12 Sep -- This was the first time I had seen Erebus with my own eyes. It was still fairly socked in at the peak. From town this sits behind the ridge so it's not visible. It is an active volcanoe. In the summer they set up a field camp up there to monitor the volcanic activity.
