06 Sep -- Skua is technically a type of scavenger bird which they say in the summer will dive bomb you for food. Here, they have a second-hand store called Skua. It's located right next to our office, the EHS Building. In fact, we had to hang a sign on our door telling people it's not Skua because they were walking right in and we were afraid they would walk off with our stuff. Anyway, I'm slightly addicted to this place. It's so fun, like a treasure hunt each time. People leave a lot of stuff when they leave and there are just some amazing finds, e.g. -- a 1/2 bottle of kahlua, Body Shop spray, extra pair of work boots, etc. You can also use Skua as a verb meaning: I just Skua'd these great boots today. Little MacTown lingo.
