02 October -- On September 23 we had a lovely little birthday bash for my friend Kathy Bates. KB worked recreation at Johnston Island, Kwajalein, and now here. She's quite a worldly contract traveler. Note her candy lei, made by your's truly. One of my many skills learned while living on Ebeye. The birthday hat that KB is wearing was made by the Sava's.
