Amber on Ice

09 October - Cindy, Bill and I hiked up Ob Hill last week. We went around 8:30pm after dinner. Bill put some Nepalese prayer flags up from his recent trip to Nepal and Mt. Everest. The sky was just glorious. Towards the sun were these beautiful yellows, away from the sun were these amazing pinks and purples. We're getting so close to 24hours of sunlight. In fact, it no longer gets dark at night -- twilight only. The sun essentially circles around our horizon never really setting. Oh, and our moon is upside down to what you see back stateside.
