Adelie Sighting
13 Nov -- Okay, so technically no b/w buggers for me but... KB seems to have some magical draw to these little guys. This is the second time she's seen penguins. She saw the Emperor Penguins earlier in the season. 
This time on another Delta Trip out to Cape Evans she saw the little Adelie Penguins. I guess they came right over to the group, running/scurring, flopping on their bellies and such. They are terribly curious creatures these penguins. The Adelie penguins are significantly smaller than the Emperors. The Adelies brood on the Sea Ice whereas the Emperors brood inland, hence that long and tortuous trek.
