Commonwealth and Canada Glaciers

On our way to the Lake Fryxell Camp we flew right over the Commonwealth Glacier. The Chopper Pilot measured the edge at about 150'. The other pic is of me taking my first few steps on the continent with the Canada Glacier in the background. The weather in the morning did not look to be a promising day, in fact we had been delayed for several hours due to the weather and cancelled the day prior. I had my
fears that I would never make it to the continent but all turned out well. Wait until you see the following posts, outta sight!
