The Adelie's Came to Town

Last weekend we had what I think was the nicest day on station. It was around 35-40F with absolutely no wind, a rarity here in Windy Ol' MacTown. The Ice Breakers were in the Channel cuttin' up the ice in preparation for our re-supply vessels which are due to arrive the first week of February. The icebreakers create a lot of broken ice, melt pools, water, etc. This creates more opportunity for our black-white friends to come to town for a visit.
