Amber on Ice

Mt. Cook in the farground. Sir Edmund Hillary who made a historic trip down to the Ice this past season did a lot of his training for the Himilayas on Mt. Cook. The glacial lake you see in the foreground has a lovely color of turquoise that it gets from some of the minerals in the water.
